A small zoom communicates interactivity without disrupting layout. Keep scaling modest and hide overflow inside the image wrapper so nearby elements do not shift.
Pair Hover with Keyboard Focus
Mouse hover alone is not enough. Apply a visible focus outline to the link so keyboard users receive the same interaction cue.
Respect Reduced Motion Preferences
Visitors may request reduced motion at the operating-system level. Disable transforms and animations when that preference is active.
